Join our Patient Participation Group (PPG)

What is a Patient Participation Group (PPG)?

A Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of patients who work together with the practice team to help improve services, patient experience, and communication within the surgery. The PPG provides patients with an opportunity to share ideas, suggestions, feedback, and raise concerns in a constructive way.

Objectives of the PPG

The aims of our PPG include:

  • Supporting the practice in improving patient services and access
  • Encouraging better communication between patients and the surgery
  • Gathering patient feedback, ideas, and suggestions
  • Helping the practice understand the needs of different patient groups
  • Promoting health awareness and community engagement
  • Discussing patient experience and identifying areas for improvement

PPG Meetings

The practice holds PPG meetings approximately every 6–8 weeks, where members meet with the GPs and practice management team to discuss patient feedback, ideas, concerns, and ongoing improvements within the surgery.

Latymer Road Surgery is currently looking for new PPG members from a wide range of backgrounds and communities.

We particularly welcome:

  • Young people
  • Working parents
  • Patients from different age groups
  • People from diverse cultural and social backgrounds
  • Patients with different life experiences and perspectives

We want our PPG to reflect the community we serve, so members can represent others like them, share ideas and suggestions, and help raise any issues that may affect patients.

If you are interested in joining our PPG, please email the practice to register your interest and one of the existing members will contact you.
